I don't think I have corestorage attached is the result of diskutil list command. I am not sure what you mean when you say download the update instead of from Appstore and install from that? nitin Posted March 17, 2018 Share Posted March 17, 2018 Ok. I have updated everything now. I first replaced lilu.kext and FakeSMC.kext files with the latest. Then I download the update from app.com and installed it. Restart works now very well and I have installed iTunes and safari from App Store. Thanks again! nitin Posted March 18, 2018 Share Posted March 18, 2018 Unfortunately I had to go back to the previous version before security updates through time machine. I noticed the system was freezing on certain webpages when using trackpad to zoom. I reverted back and visited the same webpage I had identified earlier which was causing system freeze on trackpad zoom and after reverting back to older version I had no problems on the page so looks like there is an issue with those kexts.
