Use Lilu.kext + AppleALC.kext to /EFI/Clover/kexts/Other. Switch to layout-ID =3

Disable all the hot patches for Audio in KextToPatch and remove AppleHDA_ALC280.kext

Repair permission and rebuild cache

Note: System auto reboot on Wake running HS

Thanks,

By my minimal searches from yesterday, it appears that different layouts gives different combinations of inputs and outputs. Correct? So, in the case of our 9020's, 3 or 4 aren't probably the optimal values to have at least the rear output working.

I also found a thread linking to a YouTube tutorial but the guy (on github) doesn't give any clues. It seems he has all ins and outs working: https://github.com/insanelydeepak/cloverHDA-for-Mac-OS-Sierra-10.12/issues/34
