chasmataz Posted January 12, 2012 Share Posted January 12, 2012 is there a safe way to clean out all those kexts in S/L/E without destroying my install? man! i did a CCC clone last night to a usb thumb and it took 5 hours! now looking through there i know i don't need all those drivers and it's got to speed up booting etc if it didn't have to load all that extra crap it doesn't use... any thoughts gentle people? OSX only actually loads the onces that you need 2. They take so little space that it makes no sence 3.
