It'll be easier to help if you had specify your system's specs, at minimum the touchpad it has that you're having issue with.

With that said, the touchpad is most likely not of Apple so don't expect full functionality. At most to expect are mouse movement, 2 fingers scrolling, tap to drag, 2 fingers right clicking. Anything more are pluses.

What PS2 kexts did you use?

II found a poster in another forum posted by rmarcosviniciusf17 in which he says he has achieved Hackintosh HP Pavilion 14 v066BR 90% functional

HP Pavilion 14 Notebook PC v066BR

- Motherboard: HP Insyde Bios F.42
- Processor: Intel i7-4510u @ 3.1 GHz (Haswell-ULT)
- Memory RAM: 2x8Gb 1600 MHz Dual Channel
- Integrated video card: Intel HD Graphics 4400 (GT2)
- Dedicated video card: Nvidia Geforce 840M (Maxwell-GM108) (Disabled on DSDT / SSDT)
- Generic PnP Monitor [NoDB] 1366x768 @ 60Hz
- Audio card: Intel Lynx Point-LP PCH - High Definition Audio Controller (Realtek ALC290)
- Network card: Realtek RTL8139 / 810x Fast Ethernet Adapter
- Wireless / Bluetooth card: Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 3160 802.11ac 1x1 WiFi + BT 4.0 Comb (It does not work so I am getting money to exchange it for Broadcom BCM94352hmb, apparently compatible but still have the whitelist on the bios of HP)
- IDE Controller: Intel® 8 Series Family Chipset SATA AHCI Controller
- Hard drive: Seagate ST1000LM024 HN-M101MBB (1 MB, 5400 RPM, SATA-II)
- Optical Drive: hp DVDRW SU208GB
- Touchpad: Alps Pointing-device (Does not work multitouch, Alps version not currently supported by current kexts)
- Webcam: HP Truevision HD
- 1 HDMI port
- 1 USB Intel Lynx Point-LP PCH EHCI 2.0
- 2 USB Intel Lynx Point-LP PCH xHCI 3.0
- 1 Mini-jack for headphones
- D-Link Wireless N Nano USB Adapter (DWA-131 Rev.E) (Just until you pack the wireless + bluetoth card, it disrupts the very annoying suspension)

If anyone knows if Broadcom BCM94352hmb is compatible on whitelist it is already a kk start. But I'll call HP right away. The touchpad is not supported enato works on mouse emulation. But lastly it just does not work even the Nvidia GPU, the multitouch functions and the wireless card.

In the rest it only appears in the boot "Waiting for DSMOS", "DSMOS has arrived" and "hmm .. mismatch sizes 3100 vs 20". This last one did everything and did not solve. DSMOS has downloaded the latest version of FakeSMC, so far it has not given a boot problem.

From patches I used these:

SSDT: Generated by the ssdtPRGen script

DSLR: SMBus Fix - HPET Fix - RTC Fix - IRQ Fix - LPC Haswell - Add MCHC / IMEI - Battery Pavilion n012tx - - Audio Layout ID 3 - USB 8 series - USB3 (PRW0x06D) - Rename to EH01 - Replace names - Rename to HDAU / IGPU - Disable from REG (RP05)

SSDT-3: Cleanup / Fix - PNPF Haswell - Rename to HDAU / IGPU - - Graphics HD 4600 (Rename HD4400)

SSDT-4: Cleanup / Fix - Replace names - Rename to IGPU - Disable from INI (RP05)

SSDT-5: Replace names - Rename to IGPU

SSDT-0-1-2-6-7-8: Rename to IGPU

I am leaving the Darwin Dumper reports and clover config. Thank you for all your help.

meritos rmarcosviniciusf17.
