for me it was a bad idea to switch my low energy home server ( based on a Dell Latitude D630) to OS X.

The only existing network driver for the bcm5722d i found and also delivered over EDP doesn't work really. After 10 to 20 GB of traffic the driver stops working and it seems there's no easy way to fix that.

Well, i read all the warnings about resulting problems, but i am frustraded anyway. I now have to recover to the original bios because the network issue was very hidden and is a no go to drive osx on my Latitude with that network issue. Now i have to switch back to the old nasty preffered OS.

It would be a great idea to give this BCM5722D bug information to the people before they go so far with OSX implementation on Dell Computers.

Thanks, V.

The easy fix is to buy a apple usb network adapter, you can pick those up cheap - they are one 1gbit and extremely stable.

I bought one and used when i had a D620 as a home server... give it a try :)
