Latitude 5480: High Sierra

Hi guys, can I use this same topic to share my pain?

I'm already a hackintosh user. I was running Sierra on my last notebook (Dell 3480). This notebook was provided by my company and last week they've updated to the 5480 model.

So, I'm trying to install HS 10.13.5 here, but no success.

Specs

Now, after so many tries, I've got this error:

Find attached my EFI folder. Can anyone help me with?

Cheers,

Files look fine but you could have different specs than the OP.

Post your system's specs. BIOS version...

Clear the Origin folder, reboot to Clover.

Press F4.

Compress and attach the Origin folder here

Weird. It's missing SSDT-2, there's 2 of SSDT-6, SSDT-7, SSDT-8, and SSDT-9.

Clear Origin folder again. Boot to BIOS, set to Load Defaults. Apply.

Go back to set it to the following. Might have to reboot to do this

  • UEFI
  • AHCI
  • Legacy Option ROMS disabled
  • TPM disabled
  • Secure boot disabled
  • CPU XD Support enabled

Boot to Clover, hit F4. Just once, give it maybe 2 seconds.

Check Origin folder for any issue. Compress and attach it again.
