Hey All,

I have a HP EliteBook 8770W:

Intel core i7 3720QM

Nvidia Quadro K3000m (No Intel Graphics)

500GB Samsung SSD

500GB WD SSD

32GB ram 1600 Mhz

It's mostly working fine except the Audio (IDT 92HD80) isn't working I tried DSDT Patch layout-id-3 and Apple HDA Patcher, with no success.

I also would love to get the backlight working but not as important as the audio.

I attached the debug report.

I think you got the wrong codec IDT 92HD81B1C5, should be IDT 92HD81B1X5

Remove the patch AppleHDA from /EFI/Clover/kexts/Other and add Lilu.kext + AppleALC.kext

Use layout-id 3

Remove or disable the AppleHDA patch under kextToPatch

You need to clean up a bit, you have both Lilu.kext and AppleALC.kext in /L/E and /S/L/E. Remove them from those locations and have them in Clover/kexts/Other only

Use layout-id 3. Make sure AppleHDA in /S/L/E is vanilla.

Repair permissions and rebuild cache
