Installing/upgrading to Mojave - Optiplex 9020 (HD4600)

Got it to work!  

1- Updated Clover to the latest (r-4674)

2- Downloaded Mojave 

3- Updated the Fake SMC, Lilu and AppleALC

4- Started installation

5- Coped all kexts from EFI and pasted to L,E

6- Ran these commands in terminal

      sudo chmod -Rf 755 /L*/E*

      sudo chown -Rf 0:0 /L*/E*

      sudo touch -f /L*/E*

      sudo chmod -Rf 755 /S*/L*/E*

      sudo chown -Rf 0:0 /S*/L*/E*

      sudo touch -f /S*/L*/E*

      sudo kextcache -Boot -U /

7- Rebooted. everything works including audio(only front jack)

 

My Config : i5 4570 using IGPU - mechanical HDD

I've just did a Mojave install as well. I could not get installer to boot in UEFI, so I got impatient, and installed it in legacy mode. First boot, no sound, so I have some reading and tweaks to do. Probably will go with Apple.ALC. Setup will take a bit longer on this standard HD drive.  I don't have a spare SSD to test with at the moment.

 

Sleep is working if I manually put it to sleep. I will do some more testing.
