nixcamic Posted February 10, 2012 Share Posted February 10, 2012 I put OS X on my D830, and obviously the Intel Wireless didn't work. Anyhow, I put in the Airport card from an old Macbook, it's an Atheros 5008 and it works just fine in Windows and Linux, but wont show up in Lion for some reason, any ideas as to why? Is it missing from SL as well, or only there in 32 bit? I just so conveniently already have this card, it seems a shame to have to get another. I went in to edit it but since it's an actual airport card its ID was already in the file. The kext loads on boot and everything, it just doesn't show in networks connections or ifconfig or anywhere.
