Hi,

I change my laptop from a E6420 to a E6530, and i put my HDD with High Sierra 10.13.6 in the new one, and it boots perfectly.

The only thing is the QE/CI and the Bluetooth/Wi-Fi

I updated to Mojave from the App Store (the updates help to get QE/CI multiple times), but i cannot get QE/CI Working, i've tried with a lot of kexts, and configs for clover and nothing works.

System Informacion, shows no kexts loaded for Graphics, and the "About this mac" option shows "Display 4MB".

Can somebody please upload a EFI Backup working in Mojave for this laptop?

E6530

Intel Core I7-3540M 3.00GHZ, HD4000 Only

Thanks...

Having moved the HDD from a SandyBridge/HD3000 E6420 to an IvyBridge/HD4000 E6530, you'd need to adjust your Clover config and set up the following:

Graphics section:

  • Inject Intel
  • layout-id 0x01660003

SMBIOS section:

  • MacBookPro9,2

Check the BIOS, if it saids Intel, it's not supported.

You could also use DPCIManager.app to view under PCI List

Give this a try, replace the attached contents into /EFI/Clover

For you lower resolution display, use the Config-LoRes.plist and rename it to Config.plist

E6x30_HD4000_Only_Mojave.zip

When i use this content, it starts booting but then the screen gets glitchy, then it turns black, and then shutsdown...

Edit : Looks, like it worked!!!! THANKS!!!

Edit : Bluetooth still not working..

When i copy the kexts, the Bluetooth started working,

Actually the battery status didin't show up, but i installed the ACPIBatteryManager.kext and it started working...

Thank you.

But i don't know why it hibernates just when it ends the bootload

Your immediate hibernation/sleep issue is quite typical when you do not have the correct CPU power management settings in place. If you use a generated SSDT, make sure it's one made for your particular CPU, not a different model.
