Thinkpad T460P Mojave -- almost perfect (no sleep, brightness control)

Ah, seems like we're getting somewhere -- thanks for the help @Jake Lo. Changing the value from Clover (tried removing it, as well as `-applbklbeta` on subsequent boots) forces it to load to a black screen on boot. I'd guess then that something having to do with the graphics or device id is maybe misconfigured? Any ideas?

Had you tried connecting to an external monitor to see if it boots to the login screen?

Or try shining a flashlight to the LCD to see if you can see the login screen

Lastly have you tried the Fn key to adjust the brightness? I think it's F5 and F6

Good call. Just tried again with this new config -- brightness keys aren't working, but upon connecting to an external monitor via HDMI, both displays seem to wake up. Just tried to see if the same happened upon waking from sleep as well, but it looks like the onboard display stays black, while the external display works -- at least we know sleep does work! At least this feels closer.
