Are you sure that's what you're using? Because it's not what I linked you to.

The version of Clover is old, files are not from bootpack I linked you to.

Seems the USB installer is made from TMX

Better start from scratch.

Create a new vanilla USB installer using the well known process...createinstallmedia

Use the EFI+Bootpack that I had linked

sudo /Applications/Install\ macOS\ High\ Sierra.app/Contents/Resources/createinstallmedia --volume /Volumes/installer --applicationpath /Applications/Install\ macOS\ High\ Sierra.app  .. Doing so now jake and i will re use the latest clover bootloader But a question do i select Install in esp or uefi booting only when i install on the usb ? once installed i replace the efi folder with this bootpack ?

EFI_v4961.zip

UEFI Only. All in my guide. Yes, replace the EFI and add the bootpack

Install for UEFI booting only

Install Clover in the ESP

Drivers64UEFI\DataHubDxe-64

Drivers64UEFI\FSInject-64

Drivers64UEFI\SMCHelper-64

Drivers64UEFI\ApfsDriverLoader-64

Drivers64UEFI\AptioMemoryFix-64

Drivers64UEFI\PartitionDxe-64

Add to Drivers64UEFI\HFSPlus.efi (Not included in Clover installer)
