Latitude 7490: Touchpad not working

Hello everyone,

I must first say that I'm new in Hackintosh builds... I am trying to get the touchpad working on my Latitude 7490 (display 1366x768, probably an old one) without any success. For the moment, everything work but the touchpad, the sound and the wifi. For the last one I ordered a compatible wifi card and I'm still waiting to plug it.

I've tried to use different versions of VoodooI2C.kext but nothing works. Can anyone help me get a working touchpad?

Thanks!

Hi everyone,

I followed today step by step Hervé's tutorial to install Mojave on my latitude 7490. Everything works fine, keyboard, sound, HDMI, ethernet, battery and so on. Only the touchpad refuses to work! I updated the kext VoodooI2C, VoodooI2Ccontroller and VoodooI2CHID in my EFI with Clover configurator with no effect.

I tried also to reboot my computer several times but the touchpad refuses to move...

Here is my new debug file. Does anyone know what I can do?

Thanks!

you can manually copy them to /L/E and run these commands in the terminal

      sudo chmod -Rf 755 /L*/E*

      sudo chown -Rf 0:0 /L*/E*

      sudo touch -f /L*/E*

      sudo chmod -Rf 755 /S*/L*/E*

      sudo chown -Rf 0:0 /S*/L*/E*

      sudo touch -f /S*/L*/E*

      sudo kextcache -Boot -U /
