I have a problem though, I bought this d430 with no screen to use as a cheap mac mini. Is there a way to disable the missing LCD so i can use this without it? Lion installed perfectly but I can not do anything because all i get is a grey screen with a cursor. Ironically, everything showed on the external display until it actually installed and booted :/ lol Iv tried this, but it doesnt work probably because its not a real mac lol https://discussions.apple.com/thread/3190417?start=0&tstart=0 Anyways, thank you so much for a great site! edit: Do you guys think buying a screen would solve the issue or do you think it is kext related?
