MarkyMac Posted October 4, 2020 Share Posted October 4, 2020 Installed latest Cover on my hackintosh E7450 Catalina, to update to latest OS update. Downloaded r5123. Has bricked my hackintosh. plist error referencing 'Quirks', which I've never heard of. Tried to copy the 'Quirks' dict section from the 5123 sample plist file, but that hasn't helped. Any suggestions on how to install r5122 or similar onto my existing hackintosh, given I can't boot into it? I can boot a MacOS installer USB, but from there I have no idea how to kick off a Clover install. Thx. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
MarkyMac Posted October 4, 2020 Author Share Posted October 4, 2020 Can't seem to boot hackintosh internal drive from a USB external clover, which is odd. Have copied the xxxX64.efi files from 5122 onto the MacOS installer drive, and will copy them into place on the internal drive EFI manually. See if that works.....
