Hi guys I have an elite book 840 g1 which works beautifully on bigsur but on Monterey frequencies don't go lower than 1200.

I have cpufriend and also I put ssd-pm.aml in acpi in OpenCore to get all frequencies but Monterey does not won't to obey them...

Can someone  with more knowledge enlighten me in the proper procedure to achieve it??

No idea what files you need from me

I enclose my efi folder

The photos is from bigsur you can see its working fine

MacBookPro12,1 is for Broadwell, you should go with MacBookPro11,4 for Monterey

You have too many patches doing the same thing, use one or the other, not both or all.

  • SSDT-PM.aml or SSDT-plug.aml
  • SSDT-data.aml with CPUFriend.kext or
  • CPUFriend.kext with CPUFriendDataProvider.kext

update. test install worked with this efi config. very fast boot and response everthing.

i went through dortanias guide and the usb booted very slow. and didnt show the hd in disk utility.

compared your efi folder and config vs the one i created going through the dortania opencore guide. did you or someone else create it? its very quick.

please write up an alternative mini guide so noobs can repeat the science.

ok thanks.
