No, he did not; he's got no graphics acceleration -> Intel HD Graphics 4400 4MB.

It's not "Ventura done" per sé but Ventura installed and running in reduced VESA mode for the time being...

NB: As per our published rules, no double post on the forum please.

You'll need to:

disable SIP. Just change csr-active-config to 03080000

Add this to bootarg as well amfi_get_out_of_my_way=0x1

On reboot, reset NVRam

Download OCLP 0.5.x

Selected "Post Install Root Patch" -> Start Root Patches

Rebooted system - > full graphics acceleration

You must revert to the SMBIOS of unsupported Haswell platform for the OCLP patch to work: MBP11,x or MBA6,2. You installed Ventura with SMBIOS MBP14,1 which is a Kaby Lake platform. That's unsuitable for OCLP patching. Make sure you apply the OCLP root patches and absolutely nothing else on your Hackintosh.

The question is that I realized that without changing the SMBIOS the installer does not start and that by making the change in the config.plist I was able to start. What do you recommend?

The freezing problem continues but without automatic restart. You have to force shutdown.

Perfectly normal; you can't install Ventura without a supported SMBIOS; same goes for OTA updates.

Once Ventura is installed, revert to Haswell SMBIOS and boot with -no_compat_check boot arg. Then apply the OCLP root patches.
