What WWAN device do you have installed and with what driver?

Why I see the message in kernel.log?

Feb 17 21:14:14 MacDell kernel[0]: Can't load kext com.apple.driver.AppleWWANSupport - link failed.
Feb 17 21:14:14 MacDell kernel[0]: Failed to load executable for kext com.apple.driver.AppleWWANSupport.
Feb 17 21:14:14 MacDell kernel[0]: Kext com.apple.driver.AppleWWANSupport failed to load (0xdc008016).
Feb 17 21:14:14 MacDell kernel[0]: Failed to load kext com.apple.driver.AppleWWANSupport (error 0xdc008016).

Where is the kext? Is it invisible?

Buy the one i have...

This card have two operating modes "installation mode" .. and "app mode"

When you boot the computer, its in "installation mode" .. you can see that by a CD/DVD drive icon on the desktop (its a small build-in flash memory that contains windows drivers).. once you eject that, it changes to "app mode" .. and in app-mode OSX have native support for the card :D

When i unount the cd/dvd onboard flash on the wwan, i see this:

kernel.log

Feb 18 08:43:59 x kernel[0]: AppleWWANSupport2: Version number - 2.0, Input buffers 16, Output buffers 4

system.log

Feb 18 08:44:00 x wwand[512]: AddNotificationObserver >>>>

Feb 18 08:44:00 x wwand[512]: startListening Entry >>>>

Feb 18 08:44:00 x wwand[512]: SafeBindUnixDomainSocket: (/var/tmp/com.apple.wwan/Socket)

Feb 18 08:44:00 x wwand[512]: startListening Schedule the listening >>>>

Feb 18 08:44:00 x wwand[512]: AddNotificationObserver didBind: (1)

And then i get a new icon in the system bar that i can use to connect with.. i have not installed any thing else.. so its 100% native supported...
