Chris Thomson Posted March 1, 2013 Share Posted March 1, 2013 Okay...I've re-installed the D820 NVidia configuration, I still get the same black screen. However if I put the laptop to sleep then wake it up again the screen comes on just as you suggested it would. The D620 nVidia option does work for me, but have to use Apple battery/power management, not Voodoo. Using Chameleon Wizard, I noticed the org.chameleon.Boot.plist does not have anything in the bottom box, where the D620 plist does... Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

True, they don't wake from screen sleep. How do you change the resolution? Not sure what you mean by that. Sleep & wake the machine does work, but there are odd instabilities. For example, sometimes the trackpad behavior changes on wake to what behaves like the standard Apple driver (point stick works, scrolling does not). I've checked org.chameleon.Boot.plist and there is no sign of the device injection key which is what I would expect. The Chameleon/OSX correctly detects my graphics card as a Dell Nvidia Quadro NVS 120M with 256Mb ram. I've also ran MyFix to fix problems with permissions and this hasn't made any difference. I have attached today's Kernel.log and System.log - I don't know if these will reveal anything that might suggest what the problem is.
