That usually comes with the GMA 4500MHD graphics cards which won't support acceleration in Mountain Lion currently, making for a less than enjoyable experience. Double check to see if you have different graphics (on boot up, tap f2 key to get into BIOS and scroll down to Video Controller section and take note of which is in your machine).

That is correct, the graphics card is GMA 4500 MHD. The strange thing is that I can't even install the system... I never got to the installation screen with choosing languages etc...

Pls help.

Hi,

Can you try to boot with -v option  (for verbose) and tell us what you get (error message, last message before it possibly hangs, that kind of thing)?

Herve - I tried -v (and some other flags), it goes to the white/grey screen with the spinning wheel, and then it hangs while the wheel keeps spinning.

If I try something with PCI or so, then it hangs at PCI configuration...

Bronxtech - I will try your suggestion.

Mmm, -v should give you lots of text until the very last moment where OS X goes to Desktop display.

Try: -f -v GraphicsEnabler=No
