If that still doesn't work, go to preferences/network and delete the wireless profile and then re-add it. Well, I could uninstall the Ralink software, but the wi-fi issue persist. I could not connect to my wi-fi network, but wait... I removed all the security options from the router and I could connect! So, there is nothing wrong with the network card.
