Hello-thanks for the hard work on my Hack, Conti...here's my introduction...I trust the review panel will consider it favorably and allow me access...

-Where you are from/where you live.

Mid-west, US

-How long you have used a hackint0sh (if this is your first time, state that you are new to this).

One year

-A brief summary of your experiences in hackint0shing (if any).

Started investigating Snow Leopard on Dell Inspiron 1525-read around on several of the usual sites like InsanelyMac, Prasys, MacYrPC and then after several tries got the SL to work on the 1525-was just a hobby-then-got more ambitious and went on to triple booting with Win 7 and Ubuntu on the same machine.

Stumbled across Conti's site because I was looking for a "Chocolate Kernel" for my aging Dimension 8100 which has a non-core2 Duo processor-just was a challenge to see if SL could run on this behemoth-and to my delight-with Conti's myHack it did (& still does). I like his approach because I was actually using my brains and was able to fine tune my set-up and intervene if things went wrong! Then got interested in cloning the set-ups and discovered clonezilla and learning the terminal commands on and off was an adventure!

-What triggered your interest in hackint0sh.

I think primarily initially-just as a challenge. I have used Windows for my machines for so long and a friend uses Mac and so when I got a Mac for a family member, I was intrigued why if it used the same hardware as my Inspiron 1525, I cannot run OSX on the Dell-so from there-the search began and I enjoyed doing something radically outside my own field-in the end perhaps it is to me just fun-and actually see something come out of it!

-Your general computer skill level.

A little knowledge is a dangerous thing! I guess I know enough to fix my own machines and those who have messed up theirs in my circle of friends/family! No expert but probably intermediate amateur with perhaps some diversified interests in OSes other than vanilla Windows!

-List any technical experience you have in various operating systems and programming languages (if any).

None, I am afraid, except learning to run my own installations from scratch like Windows, OSX and Ubuntu

-If you have any talents/skills that you would like to offer to help the community (optional).

Absolutely…though I guess, it may be that I may be the recipient of such help in a forum like this…Thanks Conti-you inspire…and I appreciate the work you have done/are doing...

Have a wonderful day!
