Hi i have a Thosiba Satellite 755-1nt with this dsdt https://dl.dropbox.com/u/86362288/DSDT.rar extracted with ubuntu 12.10 with this orders in the terminal

sudo apt-get install iasl

sudo cat /sys/firmware/acpi/tables/DSDT > dsdt.aml

iasl -d dsdt.aml

I patched it with the following dsdt editor sandy bridge patches for notebooks

_T_x rename

DTGP

EHCI

FN KEYS

SHUTDOWN

I have attached the Aida64 report and my IOreg

My grafic card gets black when it goes to sleep, i can see t the mouse, but i have to reboot my computer. I have got a nearly working Mountain Lion installation but if i install chamaleon I get an apple power manegement error at booting, so i have to bot with a pen drive. I have cloned my HD with clonezilla, it is free and I can get a nearly working instalation withought having to reinstall ML if something fails

I have installed latest nvidia drivers patching them like this:

HOW TO INSTALL ON NON MACPRO Modells:

1. Copy the nvidia install .pkg somewhere (desktop)

2. Show packadge contents in finder on .pkg

3. look after the .dist file

4. Open (drag & Drop) .dist with texteditor

5. change var found_hardware = 0 into =1

6 save .dist

7 Happy installing ( i use iMac11,1 - no problem after changing that var above)

and I get an average of 16 fps runing hesven brenchmark, with open gl in windows i get similar specs, so i think the graphic card is working well but it does not sleep. When I install chamaleon i cant get into osx, but i can slect linux or windows, it gets stuck, but I can boot with a pendrive. I will try to start with -f -v to see whats happening

I can't download that zip file but all I'd really need to see is an ls -l /Extra to have a better picture.

Usually sleep related issues are linked to cpu power management - you could use 'sleepenabler.kext' while still using nullcpupowermanagement.kext to achieve sleep but you would not have proper pstate's which is still important for energy savings.

To get functional power management on that i5 Sandy Bridge system is quite trivial though I showed an example here:

http://myhack.sojugarden.com/2012/08/my-new-hackintosh/

I have done that on both Sandy Bridge Mobile and Ivy Bridge Desktop processors without problem. If it doesn't work right off the bat you may need some minor tweakage to your dsdt to allow sleep to function.

Sorry my english is not as god to understand jour gas joke  I know chamaleon and power management are not the same xDDDD.

Chamaleon is like grub in linux and helps us to boot from hd and power management helps us to reduce batery or power consumption
