kill_mark Posted December 20, 2011 Share Posted December 20, 2011 hi guys, i'm stuck with the installer.. i have d630 with x3100 and myhack including the Extra folder.. i'm trying to install lion 10.7.2 and i typed UseKernelCache=No and i get stuck up.. i never reach the choose your language.. any thoughts? thank you.. kill_mark Posted December 21, 2011 Share Posted December 21, 2011 run it with -v kernel flag and see where it hangs it hangs at the grey wallpaper with the round mouse pointer which rolls.. like the attached image.. i used -v but i gues it's not needed since i reached this point, it doesn't proceed to the Choose Your Language.. i waited for 3 hours and still no go.. Administrators Bronxteck Posted December 21, 2011 Administrators Share Posted December 21, 2011 when chameleon is booting hit the spacebar when it pauses type -v it will give you a verbose output. the last couple of lines will tell you whats hung up.
