[03/03/2011] - D620 BIOS rework

Recommended Posts

FIRST READ WIKI.

If your willing to take the risqué then yes it can be flashed from windows.... but a bad flash will render the laptop unusable. make sure your flashing the correct bios for your model and graphics type. you will also have to have admin privileged's for the bios executable in vista/7 for a proper flash.

Your accountable for your own action/outcome.

but i flashed my d620-intel in windows and all went well in my case.

Me too it works Great! You've done a very good job. One thing though is this have you ever received a parity error in windows?

I want to know if there is a way to disable parity checking. I've already checked memory in bios (a10) + windows memory "thing".

Great Job though I was really scared it would stop working but it went through!

I have the A10 Bios installed on my d620 running 10.6.0 via boot disk from Lepp700m, when I try and update the bios(with NVIDIA). It seems to hang at Loading boot sector...booting... I am using unetbootin with freedos and the floppy image option.
