Then, just make sure to use a myHack USB installer with our Mavericks boot pack. If you have an Intel wireless card, disable it in the BIOS or, better, remove it as it'll have to be replaced anyway.

 

Remember to set your BIOS according to the recommended settings provided in the pinned thread of this very forum section.

 

Do all this and you won't have any issue at all.

Thanks.  I'll retrace my steps.

 

I copied the Mavericks boot pack over the extra folder that was on the USB stick.  Is that correct?

 

I think the Wifi is disabled.  I'll take a look at it in the BIOS and recheck everything.  I had Lion on here before trying to upgrade to Mav.
