Confirmed MyHack 3.3.1 compatibility with d620?

Greetings. I am new to this community and I really appreciate all the great information and tips.

I do have one question. Has anyone confirmed compatibility with the d620 and MyHack 3.3.1?

I have a d620 with intel graphics and intel wireless.  It has the A10 bios.  I have set my bios settings as per Herve's recommendations.

I created a OSX installer on an 8gb usb stick using myhack 3.3.1 and a disk image of my snow leopard install disk.  The usb stick fails to boot on the d620 although it does boot on other PC's.

I have tried two different usb sticks and in both cases the stick fails to boot.  It never even gets to the boot loader.

Before I go out and buy a third USB stick has anyone been able to boot myhack 3.3.1 on the d620?  While earlier versions no doubt worked with the d620 it occurs to me that there may be a problem with more current myhack versions.

Thanks in advance

Derek

It's not a compatibility issue with the D620, the issue you encountered is a bug with myHack 3.3.1 for SnowLeopard installers. I've been able to confirm that myself, especially if using it from an existing SL installation (it actually overwrote the installation it was run from). There is no known issue with myHack v3.3.1 for Lion/ML/Mavericks on any machine we support here.

If you want to install SL on your D620, try and use and older version of myHack such as v3.1.2.

Thank you Herve!  I really appreciate the help.

One follow up question.  Any idea where to find the my hack 3.2.1? The MyHack web page for that version says the 3.2.1 is deprecated and points back to the myhack guide page where the current version is downloadable. There doesn't seem to be a place to download older versions.

Thanks very much Herve. With your help I was able to set up my Dell d620 to run snow leopard with almost zero hassles.  This is my second hackintosh and it was so straightforward.  I can't believe what a complete solution my hack and EDP is!

With my first Hackintosh I wasted so much time with TonyM__ web site reading useless guides and burning boot dvds that simply did not work for a Gigabyte motherboard that was ostensibly supported by his solution.  I stumble upon the MyHack and OSXLattitude sites and I get the Gigabyte board running OSX in hours and, as an unexpected bonus, get an old dell laptop running OSX in a few days!

Please extend my sincere thanks to the team who made it all possible.

Derek
