Try various PCI root values with Chameleon option PciRoot=x, where x=1, 2, 3, 4. (never seen more than 4 on a computer so far). How did you configure HDD mode in BIOS?

Sometimes, you may simply default BIOS settings entirely and simply set SATA mode to AHCI. Try a few things, experiment.

I assume you've used the nforce ATA kexts as stipulated by Bronxteck, right?

PCI root issue are more likely resolved by:

  • bootloader option: PciRoot=x
  • bootloader option: npci=
  • DSDT patch
  • Alternative disk controller kext (eg: patched IOATAFamily kext, nforce kext, ...)
