Hi!

Does not work in Beta 2 :(

Downgrade my Bios A08 like yours, but not work... No QE/CI, white flashing screen, no transparency, etc... (No kext loaded...)

Also i test Chameleon boot, (you bootpack and configs) same result as clover.

Strange...

You test Beta2? If you want a test write this for dev seed App Store updates ;)

sudo defaults write /Library/Preferences/com.apple.SoftwareUpdate CatalogURL https://swscan.apple.com/content/catalogs/others/index-10.10seed-10.10-10.9-mountainlion-lion-snowleopard-leopard.merged-1.sucatalog.gz

Thanx!

It looks like the A11 BIOS has been pulled due to issues involving laptops with UEFI boot enabled. A12 was just released on the 8th. Going to see what life is like with that BIOS release, as I have memory issues with the memory allocated for graphics getting overcommitted on the Windows side.

Hi!

The problem is, Yosemite 10.10.2 Beta 2 AppleIntelHD5000.kext Info.plist not included 0x0a16 Device ID :(

And not enough to add them, need patch i think...

But 10.10.2 in beta stage, i wait for final release and mackintosh developers and solution for HD4400 work in 10.10.2 and further releases :)

1 problem is solved from this testing. Downgrade my bios to A08 solve the stuck key press problem in my 7240 :)

Has anyone had an issue where everything is working fine with 10.10.1 installed with this guide and all of a sudden trying to boot doesn't work anymore.. the loading apple bar gets stuck near the middle.  This happened before and I did a repair on the osx installation dusj with the clover osx base installer usb to boot and this allowed me to boot up again. this happened to me again and now i can't boot. progress bar is stuck in the middle. :/

I have the same issue. From what I've figured out, sometimes when going into sleep mode, it just failed or crash, then the laptop is rebooting, but it won't boot anymore : it is tucked at the middle of the progress bar with the apple logo.

I've tried to boot with the recovery clover disk, then repair permission, then it seems ( not sure this will work every time) that if I next boot with -f -v, it will work !

I'm not sure which kext is causing my sleep issue. I know that the sound (appleHDA 267) is not working perfectly, sometimes I have headphone sound after a fresh boot, sometimes not, ....

I still have in my config.plist the 3 kext patches, do I have to keep that ?

Yes, 0x0a16 is yanked in the beta. I was able to add it back, but not able to get QE/CI.

HDMI is working with this patch, but graphics is laggy.

Update:

Got QE/CI fully working now, like it was for 10.10.1!

Had to patch both AppleIntelFramebufferAzul's & AppleIntelHD5000Graphics' binaries

10.10.2(14C81f).zip

Working now....

Posible to Patch with Clover? (More vanilla feeling )

Add this to KextsToPatch

But you still have to manually  replace both info.plist for AppleIntelHD5000Graphics & AppleIntelFramebufferAzul

under IOPCIPrimaryMatch from this

0x0d268086 0x0a268086 0x0a2e8086 0x0d228086 0x02148086

to this

0x0d268086 0x0a268086 0x0a2e8086 0x0d228086 0x0a168086

I don't know how to script that. :?
