D830 OS X 10.9 - AppStore issue

I have installed a D830 with OSX 10.9 and all seems to be functioning correctly.  I did this with the various guides that are out here for the D830.  My one issue now is that I am having an issue with the AppStore.  When I try to run updates, I get the "Device/computer can't be verified" error.  I've searched here andc compared it to my D630 that works perfectly, and I have checked that the Chameleon EthernetBuiltIn flag is correctly set.  Anyone have an idea how I can get around this?

Thanks

Mark

This issue has been discussed many many times before, even very recently. You need to adjust/reset your network settings, making sure your LAN interface is 1st in the list.  Please do a search on the forum and you'll find all details in several recent guides or threads on that same matter.

Herve

Thanks - I did try to search and I only found one post that discussed this - I guess I used the wrong keywords - can you give me some pointers on what to search for please?  I did check lspci and my Ethernet controllers is above my wireless controller in the output.

Thanks

My apologies - I searched on different topics and found the issue with en0.  I followed the guide there to remove the interfaces and remove the plist files in SystemConfiguration, but my network interface always comes back as en1 not en0.  Here is the output of my lspci.   Any idea on how I can get it to be en0?

Use a proper SMBIOS.plist with a proper serial number... Is this a myHack installation ?

Mind you, you're kind of wasting your time installing Mavericks on GMA X3100-based laptop. That graphics chip is not supported since ML so you will never have graphics acceleration and I expect you should soon realise this D830 is not suitable for 10.9. A quick use of Safari on a site with lots of graphics & animations should suffice to demonstrate the point.

At best, ML 10.8 with MLPF hack.

Yes - it's a MyHack installation - it put the correct everyhing in SMBIOS.plist.

After further research, I realized that was going to be an issue - I did run Safari and saw the issue.  Thing is I'm going on vacation tomorrow, so it will have to wait until I get back.  Instead - I'll take my perfectly working D630 with 10.9 on vacation....
