Specs: BIOS A13 | i7-3720QM 2.6Ghz | 8GB DDR3 | nvs5200M/HD 4000 -1600x900 | 256GB SSD | Rebranded Dell DW1510 | Mavericks 10.9.4| Sleep:Yes Credits: Special thanks to Conti for myHack EMlyDinEsH for the patched DSDT/SSDT and AppleHDA Zenith432 for USB 3.0 qwerty12 for DisableIntelTurboBoost for Power Management bpedman, sontrg,yeahoon, npjohnson & rehabman for Alps Touchpad Developers of Chameleon Working: Full QE/CI Keyboard /Touchpad/ Trackstick Keyboard Backlit IDT Audio Wifi - replaced Intel Card with DW1510 (rebranded) Intel LAN USB 3.0 Webcam Not Working: HDMI Video and Audio (might be tied to nvidia card) Intel Wireless ( replace with compatible one) Before we start- Set BIOS to Default, then go back and change Sata Operation to AHCI and Enable Optimus in Video Let's get started... I use the myhack method for this build, so follow instructions to build your USB installer, set BIOS settings and run the OSX Installation from here http://myhack.sojugarden.com/guide/ After creating your USB installer, run myHack again Select Install Extra and point to the Extra folder attached Extra.zip Boot up system with USB installer disk with the -v switch (use USB 2.0 port on the left or the eSata port, USB 3.0 ports don't always work) Format the HDD per instruction from myHack (GPT and Journaled) Select "Use my Own" when prompt and point to the Extra folder in the root of the USB installer drive Delete the (3) files when prompted System will automatically restart when finish. Remove the USB installer drive Complete the Installation ( if you get Invalid Partition Table during boot - just hit enter to continue) After logging on: in System Preferences Enable Clicking for Trackpad Allow apps downloaded from: Anywhere for Security & Privacy Launch myHack, Install Chameleon to fix the "Invalid Partition Table" error Notes: Replace SSDT in Extra if you have an i7-3740QM SSDT_i7-3740QM.zip 4.8KB 105 downloads Make sure BIOS is at A13, Optimus disables after reboot if BIOS is at A12 Artifacts occur if Optimus is enabled and BIOS is higher than A13 Fixes: If you encounter error above when playing a DVD movie the first time, replace DVDPlayback.FrameWork in System/Library/Frameworks.
