Recommended Posts

I have a HP Pavilion TX2000.

Specs:
Model: HP Pavilion TX2000
Processor: AMD Turion 64 X2
Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce Go 6150 with 128 MB at 1280x800

I was just wondering if Mac OS X will work on this and will my Graphics Card will work with Mac OS X. If yes what version of Mac OS X.

I don't care how old the Mac Operating System is, I just want OS X on this computer.

This is really old stuff and GeForce 6000 series were not generally supported beyond Leopard 10.5. You can look at IM wiki pages. The trouble of course is that this an integrated graphics controller of the nForce 430 chipset. You'd need one of the Leopard patched kernels + nForceATA kext (I don't think Tiger could support your AMD system and it's far too old to be considered these days anyway).

You'll have to turn to IM if you want any kind of support, here it's SL onwards only. Don't hold too much hope, the IM wiki indicates no QE/CI, so...
