My problem is when I try to boot without -f boot hangs at [iOBluetoothHCIController][searchForTransportEventTimeOutHandler] -- Missing Bluetooth Controller Transport. If I boot with -f there is no problem but the really slow kext loading.

The OS is 10.10GM1.

CPU: C2D T7500

GPU: nVidia Geforce 8400M GS.

well whatever it's doing it is giving you the -f issue. 90% of the issue you explained is due to kernel cache not building properly and kicking some kexts out of it hence the need for -f which loads all kexts... does that make sense? also 10.10 is very finicky about it. you cant use the more aggressive methods of 10.9.x and below like totally deleting the  pelinked kernel. there are also other requirements like kext_dev_mode=1 kernel flags. and the kext exclude list. you need to reacquaint yourself with the methods and adjust to them.
