ASUS S400ca Yosemite

Hi all i have asus s400ca touchscreen and i install yosemite working fine but i need more help for yours ..... 8-)

my specs

asus s400ca

intel i3 3217u 1.8 ghz

hd 4000

 

my dsdt i find in internet is for i5 but work for me i know to need patch ...

work

hd 4000

fn keys

audio

usb 2 - usb 3 work as usb2 only 

camera open but is a black

 

any help to patch dsdt for i3 and usb 3 please......

You just need to replace the SSDT for different CPU. Google for 'SSDTPrGen.sh'. Use that script to generate one for your CPU.

For USB 3.0, make sure you have the right version of GenericUSBXHCI for Yosemite.

Hi buddy

 

I know this is an old thread but i've got a S400CA and it's running El Captain 10.11.5. I have everything working on it except for mic...

 

I found a developer who made a driver for the touchscreen to so I don't have to buy touch-base driver for $200+

Let me know if you're interested and i'll help, I may open a thread on here with my build and steps but need to patch my AppleHDA properly myself first to get mic working.
