Cannot boot Snow Leopard after applying Vostro 200 bootpack

Hi

I've been able to install Snow Leopard and it seems to work ok until after I apply the Vostro 200 bootpack (after the 10.6.8 combo update). Then it won't boot. I entered boot -v at the OS X boot screen and saw a message "HFS+ file has bad magic number". I'm using the modded 1.0.16 bios and a GeForce GT210. This is different to the GT610 used in the build on this site - is there something additional I need to do make this work?

Thanks

Thanks for your help! I booted with -f -v and it was hanging at PCI Configuration Begin. I then tried npci=0x2000 and was able to boot. Now I have the same problem others have had with EDP where it says I have Clover installed as well as Chameleon. If that issue isn't sorted soon are there some additional kexts I can add or anything I can do to get close to where I would be if I could use EDP?
