R4RC1 version test

V3 id E7=0x73 0x02 0x64, EC=0x88 0x07 0x9d (E6x20 models)

Didn't test since Wern and Gia were already testing

V3 id E7=0x73 0x03 0x0a, EC=0x88 0x08 0x1d (E6430/E6230/Exx30)

- KP on both Yosemite and Mavericks - I tested several times just to confirm I didn't do something wrong

- Hope you could figure this out since the older version works but only on Yosemite and newer (R3RC4)

V3 id E7=0x73 0x03 0x0a, EC=0x88 0x08 0x22 (E7440/E7240/Precision M6800)

Tested on Mavericks, Yosemite and El Capitan beta.

- Trackstick works well with scrolling / set speed to 3/4

- Right click with 2 finger tab - works fine

- Tab and drag works fine

- Touchpad scrolling works best with Middle and Ring fingers or middle finger on top of index finger

- Touchpad works with inertia - works quite well, no pointer jumping

- Side scrolling - no inertia, works as before

The last day's i've played with my new monitor, so here is my ioreg attachicon.gifWerners MacBook Pro-no-batt-status.zip

I've added one 4 finger gesture which works but while using it i hear the system alert sound

@Gia i will try your dsdt

edit: the same with your dsdt

I'm using the nvidia card maybe that's the difference

The driver you're using doesn't seem to be authentic. Please use the one compiled by RehabMan!!!

That was the first thing i've tried, also the newest and oldest PS2driver from Rehabman without success.

Right now i've removed the trackpad kext and the status is back, Rehabman has changed something in the trackpad driver, the old one works

I guess we might need help from RehabMan on this one!!

EDIT:

@Jake Lo

How's the KP issue with RC2?

Anyway, here's some good news for you:

I fixed 2-finger scroll for Rushmore. Now you can use any 2-fingers regardless of distance between them or contact area :D

Will add it to the RC3. You'll absolutely LOVE it.
