Hello Dr. Hurt,

Dolphin a6 is working! Thank you so much for your hard work!!

No KernelPanics so far, 1 finger and also 2 finger scrolling is working well. I installed Sierra new today, so I have to tweak the Pref-pane again and i will look tomorrow if clicking and speed changing is working.

PS:

What do you meen with console app, so that i can look for the asked values?

Awesome news!!!

I'll be integrating Dolphin V2 in the next Release 5 beta so that you can benefit from all the improvements.

Console is an application in the utilities folder (just like terminal).

Open console, and start touching the pad and you'll see ALPS messages appearing.

Hello dr.hurt

Dolphin a6 is working! On my device, but some of my keyboard keys are not right; such as shift + ESC the following keys, will output "±" sign. There are quotes also become so‚How should I fix it, thank you once again for your hard work

Here are the console-values from Dolphin a6:

Alps: fingers=2,bitmap=2

         fingers=3,bitmap=3

         fingers=4,bitmap=4

That's great. Multitouch is working properly then.

Try this and tell me if it works properly (hope I didn't forget anything).

Try edge scrolling too. Should work now with V5.

Here's Release 5 RC1:

- Added Dolphin V2 as a separate profile

- Added inertia to trackstick (not sure if it'll work)

- Made 2-finger scrolling much smoother

- More cleanups

R5 RC1 feedback:

v3 Rushmore E7440

- 2 finger scrolling perfect - smooth and responsive

- trackstick scrolling doesn't work at all

- bottom part of my touchpad doesn't response to touch - photo

- R4 with h/v scroll divisor set to 1 was much better in normal usage - this version is choppy / not smooth / less sensitive to touch

- one finger scrolling not on the edge of trackpad (about 5mm from edge) and very fast

Thanks for reporting :)

Does trackstick move poiner correctly at least?

Set both h/v to 0 (ZERO) to disable both scrolling edges and see if that fixes things again!!!

Setting h/v scroll divisor to 1 will make scroll extremely fast...

It should be set to 13+ to have reasonable speed.

I'm suspecting that your touchpad has a different resolution.

Hello Dr. Hurt,

here is my report for Dolphina6:

I don`t know if 3 or 4 finger Multitouch works, i don´t use it anyway (only 2-finger scrolling and clicking). In the modified Trackpad for Sierra aren´t any options to tweak for multitouch?! What should happen, when i use 3fingers?

Version5RC1:

is working too, but the sensitivity is very low, so i have to press really hard on the trackpad. I think that there must be changed any values in the plist, but I dont`t know which.

I think with edge scrolling, you mean the small area on the right side, where yo can scroll with one finger in the y-axis in windows. this feature doesn´t work in both versions.
