Hi guys.

I've tried some releases/betas but can't have both 1 finger tapping and 2 fingers scrolling (plus CapsLock fix and Wake after sleep). Is there a version supposed to manage all that?

Release 5 gives me tapping but NO scrolling.

Release 6 RC2 gives me scrolling but NO tapping.

My hardware is ALPS V8. Thanks.

Asked something like that before.

Anybody?

Download and run MacKextLight.

Drag the voodooPS2Controller kext into the left window.

Select info.plist of VoodooPS2Keyboard

On the right, use the search option on the bottom to search for Command

On the top right, change "Use ISO layout keyboard" to false.

Change "Swap command and option" to true if you like.

Click save.

Even though post #1 states the drivers support ALPS hardware V1 to V5, I don't think Dr Hurt's R4 and R5 versions support these older ALPS touchpads very well. I could not use these kexts on my old Latitude D630 that also has a V2.

I suggest you try the PS2 kexts I posted in my D620/D630 bootpack thread instead.

Unfortunately, I've found a bug: sometimes after sleep touch pad becomes crazy - cursor moves extremely fast at random places... Only reboot helps.
