what herve said. the kext is Dr.Hurts hard work not mine.

i had no involvement in it.

i did not have anything to do with writing the code for the kext. i just compiled Dr.Hurts last code he left us with so that we could try it.

Hello,

need help with my touchpad. currently using the latest VoodooPS2Controller.

cat /proc/bus/input/devices:

I: Bus=0011 Vendor=0002 Product=0008 Version=0500
N: Name="AlpsPS/2 ALPS GlidePoint"

2 buttons and a touchpad

tried R5 but no touchpad detected in sysprefs>trackpad

R6 final gives KP

desired: touchpad detected in sysprefs (so i can adjust to my preference), 2 finger scrolling, 2 finger tap to right click, single tap

I have a T440 with 3 button ALPS V7 trackpad.
I successfully installed MacOS with the help of anothers user clover files. There is one problem:

My trackpad is not recognized by the system with original VoodooPS2.kext. Only the 3 Buttons work and some basic functions - but no multi finger gestures.

With R6 ALPS Kext the gestures work perfectly... but no buttons because of the missing VoodooPS2Mouse.kext.
Is there any chance to edit the VoodooPS2Trackpad.kext plugin from the R6 zip to make it work in my original kext (look at attachment) - so that i have buttons working plus gestures?

VoodooPS2Controller.kext.rar
