High CPU Usage While on AC Power

My CPU usage is extremely high while connected to AC power, the CPU usage then lowers when I unplug the power adapter from the laptop.

Persistent logs while the AC power adapter is connected:

8/15/16 8:37:34.001 PM com.apple.CDScheduler[43]: *** LOG MESSAGE QUOTA EXCEEDED - SOME MESSAGES FROM THIS PROCESS HAVE BEEN DISCARDED ***

8/15/16 8:37:38.000 PM kernel[0]: ACPIBatteryManager: WARNING! fCurrentCapacity > fMaxCapacity. adjusted fCurrentCapacity from 3060, to 2329

What is it you're after exactly? If you don't want your CPU to run without Turbo modes (i.e. slower) when laptop is on battery, remove the Turbo disabler kext, then rebuild your cache.

For the rest, I assume that you've generated your own CPU-specific SSDT using the well-known SSDT generator from Pike R Alpha and that your system runs with proper CPU power management/speedstep.

So you're talking about CPU utilisation, not CPU speed, right? What does your Activity Monitor show? did you install something that could always run in the background and grab CPU ?

Which OS X version are you running by the way?
