See here http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/286092-guide-1st-generation-intel-hd-graphics-qeci/ To get your installer to boot, delete these in the installer and then after install, delete them on the installed drive as well using single user mode To delete them: rm -r /System/Library/Extensions/AppleIntelHDGraphics*Or the method that I prefer is just to move them out of the /S/L/E folder to a /backup folder (or whatever you decide to name it)mv /System/Library/Extensions/AppleIntelHDGraphics* ~/Desktop/backup Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

You can refer to this bible thread for details. You'll see that the Inspiron N5010 is in the list of laptops that support full QE/CI with 1st gen Intel HD graphics, so good news!
