Sierra E6230 no audio, not perfect touchpad

Hello all,

I successfully upgrade my E6230 to Sierra from el capitan today. But i ran into some trouble.

First, when i finished update, on first booting i ran Kernel Panic: voodops2controller. Then i change the kext from e6320 thread. But, the touchpad not perfect. I can't change anything in setting (blank page).

Second, i try apply applehda_idt from el capitan. Not work. Than i try applehda and cloverhda from osxarena still no audio.

Anyone has a solution?

Thank you before and sorry for my bad english

You need to use older trackpad preference, known issue. Try here

Try new voodoops2controller here

For audio, you'll need to add a new hotpatch to config.plist

Name: AppleHDA

Find: 8A19D411

replace: 00000000

Use AppleHDA_IDT from El Capitan 10.11.4 and up

AppleHDA_IDT-92HD93.kext.zip Patched_AppleHDA_10.11.6.kext.zip

If you prefer Clover on-the-fly patch of El Capitan's vanilla AppleHDA (v274.12), use the following binary replacements:

Replace by: 00000000

IDT kext does not need to go to SLE, you can have it in LE or in your Clover injection folder (but note that injected kexts are not cached).

Maybe you have a TrackPad/PS2 deamon process and launchpad somewhere that must be removed. I don't know. There is no specific culprit I can point to.

I have a similar problem with touchpad, though 2-finger scroll and 3-finger gesture is working, only 1-finger tap click is not (physical button works as click). When I try to use Touchpad Settings I get same error as mringis. BTW trackpad setting is empty.

I'm using Dr. Hurt's Voodoo kext release5.

I need to fix Audio on my E6230 El Capitan...

Exactly what do you do with these two kext?

Do they go into  Clover kext folder, /S/L/E or /L/E?

Are the Clover on the fly patches done in Clover Config?

I have an E6230, 2.9ghz, El Capitan 10.11.6

Everything else works except Audio...
