Dell mobile Precision 7510 Intel hd530, black screen

my intel hd 530 seems to be working fine, but boots to black screen. its shows all ok parameters if checked via screen share. 1536MB memory and reports intel SKL graphics.

 

if inject intel=true in clover will boot with 31mb graphics but internal laptop screen shows up.

 

do i need to edit port config? how do i determine and define it.

can you shine a light into it and see if there is an image? maybe the backlight is off.

The backlight is working. its even controllable by fn +f11 and f12. but no image.

the screen resolution as shown in screen share is less and is clear from there no display is detected.

did you set the DVMT to the required 96MB?

when you enable inject Intel, did you set the ig-platform-id to 0x191b0000?

Do you have nv_disable=1 to disable the nvidia card, set BIOS to enable switchable graphics?

Yes i have tried nv_disable=1 and enable switchable graphics in BIOS (it gets disabled after every reboot, a separate issue)

What SMBIOS are you using?

whatever it is, try replacing the board-id with this

I am using 17,1 have tried 14,2 with no success (with AGDP fix)

 

tried changing the smbios with the given board id, didn't help

Yes to inject Intel with ig-platform-id 0x191b0000

with inject intel=yes and ig-platform-id 0x19120000 ,still get 31mb ram and no QE/CI

same result with 0x191b000
