E6410: macOS Sierra does not completely shut down

So I was able to get Sierra working on my machine, but I can't get it to power down correctly,  it will shut down almost everything, but the power button will still stay lit.  I remember encountering this issue before with all of the other versions of OSX that was put onto this machine, but I can't find any of the old E6410 threads to see how I solved this issue.  Shouldn't be anything related to DSDT because it is setup the same way as the other OSX's I put on here,  so it has to do with  removing a kext, adding a modified text, or changing something in the power management settings to get it to shut down.  Any help would be appreciated on this.

Hi,

Here is my guide for installing Sierra on e6410 (and shutting down):

1) Follow this guide http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/312656-guide-macos-sierra-1012-dell-optiplex-780-760-755-790-990/

2) BUT use the dsdt and config.plist from http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/308765-guide-dell-latitude-e6410-nvidia-el-capitan-clover-eng/page-1

    look at PACK files

3) Use kexts VoodooPS2Controller and VoodooHDA and others as attached

Everything is running fine, except speedstep looks funny but might be working, and sleep not working.

Still working on speedstep and sleep, see my post at (heavily editing config.plist)

https://osxlatitude.com/index.php?/topic/9960-e6410-sierra-cant-get-speedstep-to-work/

but I am on holiday now :-)

Regards, itsworking
