My apologies for the spoon-feeding guys. I am grateful for your time and your help.

I think this may be the correct results:

locals-MBP:~ localuser$ sudo chmod -Rf 755 /L*/E*
locals-MBP:~ localuser$ sudo chown -Rf 0:0 /S*/L*/E*
locals-MBP:~ localuser$ sudo touch -f /L*/E*
locals-MBP:~ localuser$ sudo chmod -Rf 755 /S*/L*/E*
locals-MBP:~ localuser$ sudo chown -Rf 0:0 /S*/L*/E*
locals-MBP:~ localuser$ sudo touch -f /S*/L*/E*
locals-MBP:~ localuser$ sudo kextcache -Boot -U /
rebuilding //System/Library/PrelinkedKernels/prelinkedkernel
kext-dev-mode allowing invalid signature -67062 0xFFFFFFFFFFFEFA0A for kext EAPDFix.kext
kext-dev-mode allowing invalid signature -67030 0xFFFFFFFFFFFEFA2A for kext AppleHDA_ALC275.kext
KernelCache ID: B92303FCBB87AEF23200179ADC50334F
kextcache updated critical boot files, requesting launchd reboot
locals-MBP:~ localuser$

I'm rebooting now. Will post results.

Try the kext i attached a few posts back.  It shouldnt make a difference, but every one ive seen is named AppleHDA275.kext and not AppleHDA_ALC275.kext.  After installed, repair permission, rebuild cache, reboot.

I think sleep is slow on this system, how long did you wait? Once sleep the front LED blinks really fast.

Perhaps it is sleeping.  After a while the LED blinks slow.  As soon as I open the lid, its back on immediately.  If i sleep from menu I have to hit the power button to get it back up.  Makes sense.

No luck with AppleHDA275.kext :(

stick with one or the other, they are both the same except AppleHDA275 is set to layout-id 3 and AppleHDA_ALC275 is set to layout-id =28

if you use the AppleHDA from my bootpack, make sure you use the DSDT and Config from mine as well, if you use theSuffering, make sure you use all his files.

I'd updated the files here

Added Ulysses31's Cypress Touchpad kext and preference pane. It's a bit sensitive to touch though, but 2 fingers scrolling and tapping works.
