[SOLVED] E7470 - No WiFi hardware after reboot

Hi, it's me again. I was SO CLOSE.... :)

BIOS 1.16.4

SATA SSD

DW1830 WiFi

Installed E7470_v1.15.4_alternate.zip on SSD EFI partition (alternate for wireless) and WiFi worked, then on reboot it broke. Dang it. I even tried to cheat a little and borrow the origin folder Jack made for itzkr0me.zip but it didn't appear to help. What additional info can I supply? Thanks in advance!

He's using an older version of BIOS v1.5.3.

Do me a favor, upgrade to the latest BIOS v1.17.4

Then boot to Clover, hit F4, continue onto OSX.

Compress and attach /EFI/Clover/ACPI/Origin folder here.

I would upload mine since I already update my BIOS, but it appears a lot of users have different hardware than mine in that I have different extracted raw files.

So with your latest extracted raw files, I should be able to patch a new alternative bootpack for BIOS v1.17.4

Update: I meant v1.17.5

Doesn't look clean, got some mixed files in there. Clear the Origin folder. Reboot to Clover.

Go into Options when you see the Clover loader, use the right arrow to navigate

Select ACPI patching-> Tables Dropping->

Go all the way down and deselect Drop all OEM SSDT

Check all the Drop "SSDT-xx" below that

Select Return

Change DSDT name: BIOS.aml or anything other than DSDT.aml

Select Return, Return

Now Hit F4, you won't see anything going on, it's done in the background

Now select cntrl+alt+delete. Reboot into OS X and attach the new Origin folder

Done, attached. :)
