AppleIntelFramebufferCapri for 10.9.3 work well under 10.9.3 but since 10.9.4 i lost the sound for HDMI
 
I try to patch appleIntelFramebufferCapri on the fly with clover as AppleHDA but without success.

Oops, spoke to soon! Thought the audio was working but I just opened itunes to play an mp3 and got a hang on the mouse pointer after i hit play. the mouse pointer remains stuck and the laptop trackpad does nothing. The rest of the computer seems fine as i can use the keyboard, itunes seems to be playing but I have no audio from the speakers,

 

Can anyone point me in the right direction? I used the kexts from the beginning of this post, but i may have a slightly different alc?

 

Anyone know how i discover the exact identifier of my audio now that i have osx installed?

 

And does anyone know what kexts the applehda depends on?

With the last 3.8.5 version, I've got constant computer reboot. It can take up to 5 minutes, sometimes less than 20 seconds... So bad as I felt that mouse precision is better, I've got no more mouse jump when I want to close a window. But I also encounter issues with scrolling (more link to the need pression I have to put on the touchpad to have this one working - certainly link to your new palm pressure option and need some ajustement in config.plist from me).

 

Sadly, I cannot test more due to reboot, so I switched back to 3.8 release.

 

I've got an Asus UX32LN, with Elan V4 and software buttons. If you can explain me how to help you (and me) on this topic, with certainly some debug session, it will be a pleasure !!!

problem know ( i have had the same problem during beta test ), update the kext AsusNBFnKeys 2.3 to 2.4 and update also EAPDFix 1.5 to 1.7.1

about scrolling change plist/preference/keyboard   PalmCheckMinPressure and PalmCheckMinWidth at 255.

Yes, you lost QE/Ci if you install the last patch kext AppleIntelFramebufferCapri.

If you have the AppleIntelFramebufferCapri.kext 10.9.4 you have QE/CI but no sound HDMI

The new AppleIntelFramebufferCapri need to be patch... 

the AppleHDA 2.6 work fine.

Otherwise try patch with Clover

Yes, work fine with Logic Pro X, MainStage or Ableton Live 9 etc...

I applied the DSDT for this K55aVM laptop on my similar spec K55A, and for the most part it works, however, my wifi(AR9285) doesn't work anymore, whereas if I boot with DSDT=Null it works fine. I'm new to DSDT editing so I'm hoping someone here can help me out.

I patch my dsdt with Wifi_BT_patch(2 toggles), it's work but :

- If WiFi enable, diode light is off

- if Wifi disable, diode light is on

How can i fix it ?
