UPD: Just realized that Screen Mirroring does work on Catalina but not in Big Sur. That is weird.

I also applied Layout - 3 Audio To it, and now my Audio works too.

The only thing left to solve is Synaptic Touchpad. I cant find a proper kext for it. 

I tried RehabMans and Acidanthera latest kexts but they don't work properly (Too Hyper fast and Sensitive or it is inverted)

I just found a random Voodoops2 from a decade ago and it works with all gestures but not Tap To Click. Is there any way to fix tap to click only? The rest is good.

This one is vanilla extracted from 6470b firmware. Not Altered in any way what so ever.

Yup, Vanilla extracted using Clover installed on USB. I also extracted one using Linux Mint, compared them in hex editor and saw do difference what so ever.

The one in EFI.zip is patched tho.

 

UPD: I tried Catalina installer, and same as in Big Sur i am getting 1% battery.

1366x768 but i am getting full QE/CI, so that shouldn't be a problem. But there is an optional issue (more cosmetic).

Verbose Logging looks weird and croocked, not readable. But if I turn it off, I will get a normal apple logo.

UPD: Set MBP10,2 but nothing changes in terms of perfomance or battery issue. Im just going to set back Haswell for better compatibility.

Thanks so much for your effort, but for some reason the issue still persists. Might that be because of Big Sur?

(My HP is Ivy Bridge, and I am using Haswell SMBIOS) Should I use macbookpro10,2 and set -no_compat_check?

Anyways I will try to just boot Catalina Recovery to check the battery status there.

Hi, I am currently using Big Sur on ProBook 6470b. But all guides for 6470b are outdated.

I want to make it as Vanilla as Possible. Everything works except for Tap To Click and Battery.
Big Sur has Sealed File system, so I can't really modify SLE or LE.
(except for making a Mounted Folder and then blessing it all, but it won't let me refresh the kextcache)

WIFI I am using is AR-9285, and it works fine with few kexts installed in OC
Sound is VoodooHDA, because AppleALC does not work with any IDT92HD81B1X5 layout id (3, 11, 12, 20, 28)

UPD: Applied RehabMan's Layout-3 HDEF Audio patch to my DSDT just to test it, and it worked like a charm with alcid=3 and AppleALC installed

I tried HP ProBook Generic Patch from RehabMan Repo, and applied it.
Also I installed ACPIBatteryManager.kext from RehabMan bitbucket.
But after a restart is shows 1% and that I have to service my laptop battery.

Then I start Reading those Notes in the Patch, and it says that I have to use 4530s DSDT Patches for 6x70b laptop.
But all Sources for 4530s are dead. What am I suppose to do about this?

 

All i need is the battery. The rest works fine.

I Did some progress! I made my DSDT, APPLE HDA Works and it boots to OS. The only problem is like always... No Sleep.

Is there anyway to merge E6430 and E6530 to make one stable DSDT? For I5 3230M

ar9565 is not supported higher then Mojave. You can find some kexts but they are not vanile and not stable. I have that wifi card and my speed is 2mbps, even tho my wifi is 10 Gbit. Replace your card

tried your ACPI without combining, tried to combine my ACPI with your and there is something. It takes 3 minutes to sleep my laptop, but after i wake it up, mac freezes

is there anyway i can get ACPI? i dont know how to create SSDT DSDT

Bios is the latest. I think it is A22. i updated it month ago (when i got into hackintosh things) Also i am getting problems with battery percentage. It is not monitored in real time.

Laptops shuts the screen off when apple logo appear. I can wake the screen by pressing Fn+Brightness but it goes to sleep back after like 20 seconds. And if i wake it from Sleep it works Normal. Full HD4000 Acceleration and QE/CI support 1.5GB. I Thinks that is ACPI Error but that happens to all E6x30 Acpi's that is found on internet

I Can just keep using it like this but that is annoying

Which kext or what changes i have to make to Config.plist in order to achieve an enjoyable MacOS Usage?

Just opened Clover CFG And added a patch in ACPI Section. Worked perfectly

But now i am getting ioconsoleusers error. I tried to clear nvram, inject intel, nvidia. Play with bootargs (nv_disable=1) Still  error

Should i disable optimus?

 

UPD: Disable Optimus and nv_disable=1 solve the problem
