  1. Slice in dropbox under bootloaders you have your own folder by the way
  2. Where is it from? Post a link to it so it can be followed. Thanks Daniel I will test it when I get a chance
  3. yes and No the "yes" part it works on your d620 Int 950 without voodoopower.. the "no" part is you will not get battery display or info without the voodoopower. But Slice knows the most about Boot loaders as he is part of the Voodoo team Most of our Kexts have had his hand in it someway or another.. Thanks Slice..
  4. It "should" work from either but some kext are stubbourn. I guess it has to do with rights access or permissions.. My pcmcia acts the same way i had to put the kext in s/l/e because in e/e it was a 50/50 shot it would work and i need it for my wireless card it is a linksys pcmcia wireless G card... well it works on "my" d620 In945 some people can not get it to work from S/l/e because of KP's but I'm sure it has to do with what kext's you are running
  5. Ok just realized sleep's not working
  6. abbreviation for Extra/Extensions folder..
  7. Maybe it's DRM encryption related that was part of the update. I'm guessing probably because of app store.
  8. well i'm still using the second one i posted.... At the moment.. i haven't found a better workaround for it. The latest and most active forum on it right now is by Slice but it's not working for me... http://www.projectosx.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=1937&hl=trackpad
  9. Your supposed to run EDPTool.command its located in Extra folder If you have installed RC1.5 correctly then you should be familiar with it..
  10. did you run edptool after and fix issues then touch s/l/e?
  11. There's a tutorial in the wiki. you have to add a system password in bios. Then run edptool... go to fix issues then disable hibernate.
  12. But if you installed edp and 687 it should have replaced slics files? Hmm weird.
  13. Anders did you have to add graphics injection to boot plist with rev.687 nobody has answered my thread with anything other than D620 intel?
  14. Thanks I spoke with Mariusz he's looking at the DSDT
  15. no creed i haven't tried it.. but i do not use any of the internal networking wireless or lan. What i do use is a pcmcia linksys that i had laying around. i will try it in E/E tonight if i have a chance.
  16. Hi did you try this look at note Modified version: Not perfect but better NOTE: Turn off bluetooth to access apple trackpad prefpane. no modified trackpad needed to turn on multitap for scrolling Attached File(s) VoodooPS2Controller.kext.zip (135.3K)
  17. 4 gigs of ram max (2x 2gig) need latest bios from dell. install it 2gigs at a time if not it will not register all at once.
  18. One more thing I forgot to ask Anders.. have you tried dumping the dsdt using the guide from the wiki? The more variety of latitudes we have dsdt's from the more machines EDP can support
  19. The problem is most likely the DSDT from what i understand on that machine so Mariusz is definitely the guy for that.. I read that there's a kext that might help in the meantime by Slice but its for ICH8 controller... I'm not sure if d630 has that though link: http://www.projectosx.com/forum/lofiversion/index.php/t676.html
  20. Sorry I don't have that Hardware But give us some info/specs on the machine... put in your signature. IOATA family you say? Are you running latest EDP? Are you on 10.6.6?
  21. Ver. 665 is the most stable release that works for us..
  22. If the drivers are not proper then the boot gets stuck. if powerpack will not work for you then do not use it. on d620 intel 950 it is not necessary. chameleon 665 already has it included use voodoobattery instead.
  23. Nice mod.. I had tried that some time ago but the drive wound up being defective (the macbook was smashed and then ripped in two. from what they told me Jealous girlfriend) then there was that ugly hole no faceplate
  24. Hi Andersah Im guessing it kernel panic'd?
