it might be trying to update the non existent apple mac firmware. if using OC there is option to not allow it as we do not need that on a hack. i don't recall what it is off the top of my head but it's in the OC documentation. -

you can try layout id 13 and 29 they seem to be for a asus x55 system

it is not that it is impossible. it is just that none of the devs that would have the skills to code for it have the machine. necessity is the mother of invention.

most likely has to do with filevault. or BT see if you can disable any new vault related features can try with man pmset or pmset -g log to see what is going on

the microsoft folder is not automatically added / created in OC. windows creates it when you install windows in efi mode. -

use boot-arg alcid=? and ? is one of the layoutid numbers until you find one that works best for you. so you add it to nvram / variable 7C436110-AB2A-4BBB-A880-FE41995C9F82 boot-arg/ alcid=some id# you want to use -v keepsyms=1 https://github.com/acidanthera/AppleALC/wiki/Installation-and-usage hackintool should also give you a selection of layoutid's for your codec. -
